Press release. Time to stop being chased out of our homes, businesses and communities by aircraft Overflying.
Our petition requests the UK Gov. starts measuring and sharing the occurrences of aircraft Overflying by all UK postcodes so we can protect and defend our homes, businesses and communities from the aviation sector’s by-products i.e. NOISE, VIBRATION and POLLUTANTS. This 18 hour * 7 day a week toxic mix are the most common reasons for us being chased out of our communities.
Imagine your home being passed by 5 to 20 fully laden equivalent diesel construction lorries every hour for 18 hours a day, including weekends, early mornings and late evenings.
WHO IS BEHIND OVERFLYING & HOW IS IT REGULATED? Answer, a 49% government owned body called NATs that’s unaccountable to the public because there are NO regulations or controls regarding the practice of Overflying. EVERYWHERE in the UK is vulnerable and there is no free way of finding out the scale of the impact*.
This UK Gov. petition** is the first step towards having this nationwide problem recognised and addressed. The petition requests the UK Gov. start measuring and sharing the occurrences of Overflying. We must stop the process of being chased out.
