Our Aircraft Impact Assessments are the result of processing up to 400,000 data points relating to aircraft movements within a 1 mile radius of a UK 6-7 digit UK post code. To make sense of the assessment please read our article titled “how the assessment index is calculated” . Past Assessment results are available Free-Of-Charge from the table below based the date of when the Assessment was last refreshed.

The traffic light system that is designed to provide an immediate understanding about the outcome of the Noise Assessment. A GREEN Assessment implies a home, garden and local amenities are not expected to be impacted by aircraft noise, however there could still be one-off disturbances. A YELLOW Assessment implies there will be times during the day when some aircraft will be heard. However, sleep patterns are not expected to be impacted. An ORANGE Assessment implies there is regular aircraft noise throughout the day-time and some at night-time. Sleep patterns and enjoyment of the outside amenities could be impacted. A RED Assessment implies the regular aircraft noise throughout the day-time and some at night-time and this is likely to impact sleep patterns and enjoyment of the outside amenities.
